FARGO – Forum Communications is stepping up its game in distributing North Dakota State University football games this season. Subscribers to WDAY Sports+, accessible through the InForum.com website, can stream games live when in WDAY-TV coverage area.
The new offering is part of Forum Communication’s deal with Learfield, which manages NDSU’s media rights.
“We’re expanding our distribution platforms as people change the way they consume content,” said Josh Rohrer, WDAY’s general manager and vice president of broadcast. “We want to be at the forefront of getting that content where people want it.”
The streamed games are in addition to what is offered on the ESPN-Plus and GoBison.com websites. Available for $9.99 per month or $100 per year, WDAY Sports+ also includes access to weekly high school games in North Dakota and western Minnesota, as well as games involving Minnesota State University Moorhead. Subscribers outside of WDAY-TV’s coverage area will not be able to access live Bison games, but will be able to watch them on the website once they are complete.
