ESPN on Tuesday announced the 2022-23 women’s basketball schedule for its networks.
No. 12 UNC will play 13 games broadcast across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ACC Network. The networks will feature the Tar Heels four times more than they did in 2021, when they only got nine games.
UNC has garnered more national attention since their Sweet Sixteen loss to eventual champions South Carolina in March. The Tar Heels compete in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2015 this season, and seven of their games on ESPN will be played against other ranked opponents from the previous season. Notable encounters include games against No. 7 Louisville, No. 9 Notre Dame, and No. 10 NC State.
