Pat McAfee will play six college football games on ESPN2 in the 2022-23 season.
The former Colts punter will partner with Omaha Productions on the call with his former quarterback Peyton Manning. Manning attended McAfee’s show Thursday to help announce the news.
“Peyton, you’re the damn man,” McAfee said. “Thanks for the opportunity, thanks for the deal.”
“I can’t thank you enough, man,” Manning said on Thursday’s show. “Looking forward to something. You’re the best. I’m looking forward to being your teammate again, if you will.”

Manning and his brother Eli started a simulcast least NFL season dubbed the “ManningCast” that took place during “Monday Night Football” on ESPN2. Its popularity prompted MLB to do a similar version of the simulcast called “KayRod,” starring Alex Rodriguez and Michael Kay, on Sunday nights.
McAfee will follow this format in six Saturday college football games next season. Likewise, he will have guests on the show at every game. ESPN will continue to present the main coverage of each game.
The six games were not released for McAfee’s unnamed simulcast. However, the host referred to them as “big A–” games.
