This week is a new releases week on Nintendo Switch with more than 40 new games on Nintendo eShop.
It’s a big week with some standout titles, and one of those will no doubt be Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, the sequel to Mario’s first X-COM style adventure, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Although the game isn’t due out until later this week – Thursday to be precise – the first reviews are already in and as expected it’s another hit for Ubisoft and Nintendo.
If colorful worlds full of whims and wonders don’t do it for you, then Asobo Studio’s stealthy horror is also releasing this week on Nintendo Switch. However, this isn’t one you can buy at retail, at least not on Nintendo Switch. If you want to play A Plague Tale: Requiem on Nintendo’s hybrid console, you’ll have to settle for the cloud version. Still, better than nothing, and according to our Jack Coleman and his A Plague Tale: Requiem review, it’s a worthy sequel that delivers the goods.
Of course, the big news for Persona fans is that Persona 5 Royal will finally be getting a much broader release, finally putting its past PS4 exclusivity behind, as it releases this week on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PC, and PS5.
