NetEase Games establishes GPTRACK50 – Osaka-based studio led by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi


NetEase Games has announced the formation of GPTRACK50, a new studio headquartered in Osaka, Japan and led by Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the producer behind series such as resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry, Sengoku Basaraand the dragon’s belief.

The ultimate goal of GPTRACK50 is to create original IPs that would impress the whole world. The studio strives to create original game content and expand the spectrum from pure games to film and entertainment series. The President, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, personally helped produce the film resident Evil‘s live-action and CG animation series. He has also been involved in the production of many more media portfolios of various original game IPs, including live action, animation, stage play, manga adaptations, etc. Leveraging this unique experience, the studio will create and expand new IPs on a global scale through movies, novels and manga adaptations.
