ISD institutes new student fan policy for games – The Examiner

Fans attending events must be from one of the participating schools or have a parent or legal guardian present. The Independence School District has changed its policy regarding participation in all school physical activities for the 2022-2023 school year. William Chrisman High School activities director Greg McGhee said the new policy is consistent with what other school districts are doing, and Truman High School freshman activities director Bobby McCutcheon tweeted, “This is intended to be a fun, safe.” and create a friendly environment for all patrons.” The new student game policy states: • Only students from the Independence School District or students from the opposing team may attend the games.
