Here Are All The New Games Releasing Today On PlayStation Plus Extra

PlayStation Plus Extra is soon getting a bunch of new games, some of which are pretty awesome new additions to Sony’s expanding Game Pass competitor.

While the free batch of PS Plus Essential games dropped earlier this month, it included three surprisingly great titlesthis second batch – available in the Extra and Premium tiers – is also pretty strong.

For shooter fans Ghost Recon Wildlands offers really fun cartel battle action in the open world. It’s not quite the same stealth experience as the original Ghost Recon Games, but if you like tactical battles in the open world, flying helicopters and completing missions, it’s definitely worth your time.

First person shooter fans should give Metro Exodus a shot. The latest installment of the post-apocalyptic shooter is bigger and better looking and should provide hours of exciting missions as you battle your way through hideous monsters and rival factions.

If you fancy asymmetrical horror competitive game, Dead by daylight pits a team of survivors against monsters from movie history like Michael Myers and Freddie Krueger. One player plays the killer while the other four try to survive against all odds.

For fans of JRPGs, Trials of Mana is a 3D remake of the third game in the excellent mana Series completely redesigned for modern systems.

Then there are three games in the Japanese crime series yakuza This brings the total for August to four since then Yakuza: Like a dragon was released on the first Tuesday of the month for PS Plus Essential and higher. Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 Join the PS Plus Extra and Premium range today.

There is something for everyone including the space simulation Everspace and two different ones monopoly titles, as well as the family-friendly ones (but super weird and a bit jerky) Bugsnax.

Here is the full list for August 2022:

What do you think of the new PS Plus so far? Did you subscribe to the higher tiers? Is it worth? I finally went ahead and bit the bullet, but haven’t had much time to try it yet. I will and will be in touch again soon.
