FuboTV is one of those rare places where fans can watch Premier League games in 4K. If you think about it, the only two streaming services that offer access to higher resolution are fuboTV and YouTube TV.
Premier League fans are in luck with more games than ever in 4K this season. For $10 over the base plan, fuboTV will broadcast 15 Premier League games in 4K next month. That starts with the Aug. 20 game involving Spurs and Wolves. Every weekend there are two to three games available in 4K. Generally, these are the “marquee matchups” for that week or day, depending on how the schedule unfolds.
As mentioned, the 4K plan with fuboTV is $10 more than the basic plan most people subscribe to. Therefore, the total cost of fuboTV subscription would be $79.99 per month.
Premier League fixtures schedule available in 4K via fuboTV
These shows are from Premier League Productions, not fubo or NBC Sports. While watching, the game uses the game’s world feed instead of NBC’s proprietary commentators. While the traditional broadcast of a specific game has Peter Drury, Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux, the 4K broadcast uses Premier League Productions. This is a different commentator duo and studio coverage.
Apart from that, here is the schedule of 4K Premier League matches available through fuboTV. The associated channel for each of these games is available at NBC Sports 4K on fuboTV.
World Soccer Talk features a full schedule of Premier League commentators each week on Friday. This list, as well as the one below, sets out which games are available in 4K. How to watch the Premier League in 4K
First things first, you need to make sure you have subscription access to watch games in 4K. For cable cutters, fuboTV and YouTube TV are the way to go. Satellite providers also tend to have 4K. Keep in mind that the 4K channels on fuboTV are an additional cost to the basic plan of $69.99 per month.
Then there’s the hardware. You need to make sure you have a 4K compatible TV or device that can broadcast the game.
After that you should be done. As mentioned above, the match schedule above is available in a special 4K part of the fuboTV guide. The channel simply says NBC Sports 4K, and you’ll then have access to higher definition Premier League games.
