PS Plus subscribers: Today is your last chance to claim PS Plus Essential free games for November 2022. Tomorrow, December 6th, Sony will be swapping out these titles for its December 2022 lineup, making the November 2022 free games permanently unavailable. That is, unless you make sure you can play them far into the future.
The Essential lineup for November 2022 includes Nioh 2/Nioh 2 Remastered, LEGO Harry Potter Collectionand heavenly bodies, a good group of games to have in your library whenever you can access them. They went live for subscribers on November 1st, giving players almost five weeks to claim, download and play these special games.
As you may know, every PS Plus subscription entitles you to these essential games. Whether you subscribe to PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, or PS Plus Premium, you can claim and download the Essential games as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription. However, this only applies to these specific Essential games. Extra and Premium offer additional games to play for free, but these titles are only available as long as Sony keeps them active. Once the company removes these games from the service, they will no longer be accessible.
On the other hand, important games stay connected to your PS Plus account as long as you claim them. So, in theory, you can play these games as long as the service exists. It would be nice if Sony made claiming these free titles something that happens automatically, but unfortunately you have to remember to do this every month.
Sony’s Essential range for December 2022 includes: Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and biomutant. The company announced these three titles in a numberv. 30 tweet, so we received a warning that this transition would take place tomorrow. Whether the news never reached you or you’re a chronic procrastinator like me, this is your sign to claim these November gaming stats.
