NEW YORK (AP) — Bradley Beal is back in the starting lineup for the Washington Wizards after missing five games with a left hamstring strain.
Coach Wes Unseld Jr. said the Wizards would be cautious with Beal’s minutes against the New York Knicks on Wednesday because of his hamstring plague on multiple occasions this season. He missed three games from December 28 to January 1 due to pain, in addition to missing six due to a right hamstring strain in December.
Washington lost four of five without Beal, their top scorer at 22.9 points per game.
