Like a lot of people I know these days, I only watch a YouTube video if it’s either under 5 minutes or over an hour. YouTube recently emerged as a platform for lengthy video essays, and I’m happy about that. Even better, Jenny Nicholson just released a nearly four-hour video about an unfinished Utah attraction called Evermore. Evermore is a sort of theme park slash immersive theater that seems to have been beset by both uncontrollable world events and bad management, but I want to go anyway because it looks pretty fun (ny).
However, I’ve been thinking about what games I’d like to turn into theme parks with immersive experiences of this nature, and I have to say… I got nothing.
