WHAT TO CONSIDER

· Tight end Cameron Brate is entering his ninth NFL season with 33 touchdown catches. His next will tie him with Ring of Honor member Jimmie Giles for second place in franchise history in receiving TDs and fourth in total touchdowns.

· Wide receiver Mike Evans already owns Tampa Bay’s career touchdown record and virtually every career receiving record, but now he’s nearing the top spot in another category: yards from scrimmage. Former running back James Wilder long held that record with 9,449, but Evans is now at 9,443. That means Evans is only seven yards from scrimmage to take that record from Wilder.

· Evans is also about to climb up another Buccaneer all-time list, this time for points scored. His touchdown in Dallas in the first week took his career points to 470 total, meaning he needs just eight more to overtake kicker Connor Barth (477) for third place on this list.

· Wide receiver Chris Godwin has 29 touchdown catches on his résumé. Two more would put him in a tie with Kevin House for fourth most in team history.

ESPECIALLY QUOTABLE

· Head coach Todd Bowles on preparing for Packers running backs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon: “They can both do anything. Obviously Aaron is faster – he’s playing wideout, he’s playing running back, he’s moving in, he’s moving out, he’s playing the slot — he’s doing a lot of things great. He is very explosive when he catches the ball and when he runs the ball he can break it and he can turn a four yard gain into a 60 yard gain. AJ is just difficult to handle when you fall. He’s tough – he’s not just tough, he has very good feet. He can also catch the soccer ball. These two, along with Aaron [Rodgers] and the rest of the boys – it’s going to be a tough draw.”

Running back Leonard Fournette on how excited he is to be back home at Raymond James Stadium: “I’m very excited. We lost our last game there against the Rams to go out there and erase it from my memory, stuff like that. Just coming home, you know, it’s gonna be exciting. The fans out there, you know [I] I can’t wait to see the crowd, things like that.”

· Wide receiver Cole Beasley on whether Tom Brady recruited him to join the Buccaneers: “I’ll be honest, I’ve beaten him a lot. I think a lot of guys got beat up a little bit here, so she gave me an opportunity to come over here and do some work. I don’t know what my role will be at the moment but I just come in humble and willing to be a part of it.

· Bowles on why the Bucs’ pass rush works so well: “I think they’re sacrificing each other. It’s more here too [about] the pressure as the sacks – trying to get incompletes – the sacks are great but we’re trying to get incompletes and pressure and turnovers. sales [are] the name of the game. I think they do a good job of helping each other and sacrificing each other when someone needs to blitz or referee a game.”

· Quarterback Tom Brady on Packers QB Aaron Rodgers: “Certainly he’s a great player, has been for a long time. I love watching him play and he’s also from California so I always feel like we have a little connection. “He’s an older guy now. He’s been a great player in the same place for a long time. There’s definitely some challenges with it but he handled them pretty well and did a great job leading the team. They won.” a lot of games since he’s been there and I knew Brett [Favre] pretty good; With these two guys, they’re two pretty great quarterbacks in one place for a long time.”

· Offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich on why the team struggled with short thirds and fourths in week two: “Certainly he’s a great player, has been for a long time. I love watching him play and he’s also from California so I always feel like we have a bit of a connection. He’s an older guy now. He’s been a great player in the same place for a long time. There are definitely some challenges, but he handled them pretty well and did a great job,” cites the team. They’ve won a lot of games since he’s been there. And I knew Brett [Favre] pretty good; With these two guys, they’re two pretty great quarterbacks in one place for a long time.”
