2022 Bowl Games schedule, college football scores, live updates: Oregon State routs Florida, BYU outlasts SMU

College football bowl games are upon us as the 2022 postseason kicks off with a flurry of matchups set to celebrate a compelling year in the sport. The promotion began Friday, December 16th and will run through to the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, January 9th when we will crown a national title winner for the 2022 season.

Bowl season action really picked up steam on Saturday with a six-game schedule after the postseason began on Friday with a two-game schedule. Saturday’s action had a bit of everything from Oregon State, which dominantly secured its third 10-win season in program history over an SEC opponent, to a record-breaking performance by the son of an NFL legend who continued his The game leaves its own mark. There was also the Celebration Bowl, in which Jackson State’s attempt at a perfect season was spoiled in Deion Sanders’ final game before heading out to take over the Colorado program.

Sunday is a day off for the Bowls, with the NFL taking center stage, but the postseason returns on Monday when Marshall faces UConn in the Potato Bowl.
