14 Games THQ Nordic Presented in Its Digital Showcase 2022

THQ Nordic doesn’t seem happy about Summer Games Fest and E3 and wants to do other things. That’s why the company has set up its own showcase, Digital Showcase 2022, offering gamers developments on announced and unannounced games. The highly anticipated Digital Showcase 2022 has just concluded and the publisher has made exciting announcements. So here are the 14 games THQ Nordic presented in its Digital Showcase 2022.

The event lasted about 45 minutes and THQ Nordic featured titles players loved, like SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake. Well, here’s a recap of all the games shown, including the four new announcements.

Alone in the dark


The famous horror franchise returns! This reimagining of the original trilogy aims to scare you to the bone, returning to notorious locations with a whole new story and mythical locations to explore. Alone in the Dark is developed by Pieces Interactive in Sweden and will be released for PC, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5.

Rising Storm

Inspired by RTS greats of the 90’s and 2000’s, Tempest Rising is a classic real-time base-building strategy game set in a modern alternative historical war scenario. Three unique factions fight over a rare alien mineral called Tempest. Embark on epic story campaigns or challenge your friends in multiplayer matches. Tempest Rising for PC is developed by Slipgate Ironworks from Denmark.

Space… the final procedurally generated frontier! Space for Sale follows the adventures of a cute little astronaut on a mission to explore strange new worlds, seek new life and build a lovely lot to sell what no human has ever sold before! Space for Sale is an exploration/survival sandbox game where your job as a real estate developer is to build beautiful properties for your discerning clients. The game is developed for PC by Mirage Game Studios, Sweden, known for Little Big Workshop.


Racing is great! Creating is great! That’s why development studio Three Fields Entertainment, the team behind Burnout and Need for Speed, combined these two elements in the upcoming Wreckreation. With the so-called live mix, you can build and modify your circuit while you (and some friends) drive it. Add a new curve, place a jump ramp – or just put a giant rubber ducky in the way; It depends on you!

THQ Nordics Digital Showcase 2022: Gothic

Time to return to the colony! The remake of the most iconic German RPG of all time is currently being developed by Alkimia Interactive for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. The latest trailer invites you to descend into the depths of the old mine. Are you ready to face the dangers that lurk in the dark?

Jagged Alliance 3

Grand Chien needs help – and there is only one mercenary organization that can help the people get their land back! Jagged Alliance 3 combines a strategic campaign with intense turn-based tactical combat and RPG elements. Train your mercenaries, collect equipment and form a militia to push back the enemy or hold captured sectors. You are the general and commander who must liberate Grand Chien! Developed for PC by Haemimont Games.

THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase 2022: Outcast 2 – A New Beginning

Cutter Slade is back on a mission. The Talans are waging a desperate war against human invaders, and only Cutter can prevent the Talans from being exterminated, paving the way to ending this conflict. Developed by Appeal Studios, Outcast 2 – A New Beginning is coming soon to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

THQ Nordics Digital Showcase 2022: SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake

are you ready kids SpongeBob returns to the screen in a new fantastic adventure! SpongeBob and Patrick travel to many different imaginary worlds, each with their own locations and rules, such as the Wild West Jellyfish Fields or the Halloween Rocky Ground. Developed by Purple Lamp, the developer of Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, embark on this brand new 3D platformer, coming soon to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

AEW: Fighting forever

THQ Nordic and All Elite Wrestling have teamed up with YUKE’s Co. Ltd., the prolific wrestling game developer from Japan, to bring you AEW: Fight Forever! The game combines nostalgic arcade wrestling with All Elite wrestling finishers and moves. You have a large roster of AEW talents, multiple match types, a robust career mode, tons of customization options, 40+ weapons, and much more! Coming soon to PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Knight of Honor II: Sovereign

Your kingdom awaits you, Lord! With Knights of Honor II you control a medieval kingdom in Europe or North Africa and command knights, merchants, diplomats, spies and clerics to build your empire the most powerful in the world. Knights of Honor II: Sovereign is being developed by Black Sea Games and is coming to PC soon.
